New Province Constituted
On the morning of 13th April 2012 at Swindon the new Province of Dorset and Wiltshire was constituted and Rt.Wy.Bro. Gerald F. Hambidge was installed as the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler by the Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler. Following which he appointed, invested and installed as the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler V.Wy.Bro. Denis F. Cutler and the remainder of the first Provincial Officers of the new Province.
After a very convivial lunch the Provincial Meeting was resumed and the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler had the pleasure of dedicating a new Provincial Banner and Sword.

New Conclave for Dorset and Wiltshire
On Monday 15th October 2012 Rt.Wy.Bro. Gerald Hambidge, PrGSR, assisted by a team of Provincial Grand Officers consecrated Bridport Conclave No. 608. The oration was given by the Provincial Grand Chaplain, Wy.Bro. David Willcock. Click here to read the oration. The Conclave will meet at Bridport on the third Monday in the months of February, June and October. Please contact the Secretary if you would like to attend a future meeting.

New Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler
On Saturday 11th April 2015, Wy.Bro. Ian Sullivan was installed as the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for Dorset and Wiltshire by the Grand Supreme Ruler, Most Worthy Brother Paul Clement, assisted my members of Grand Conclave.
Blandford Masonic Hall was full to the limit with members from all 9 Conclaves within the Province. Following his installation, Rt.Wy.Bro. Ian reinstalled V.Wy.Bro. Denis Cutler as the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler.
There were many Provincial Grand Supreme Rulers from other Provinces present including Heads of Order within Dorset and Wiltshire.
After a very enjoyable lunch the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Conclave was held when the remainder of the Officers were invested.
Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler to Retire
Rt.Wy.Bro. Gerald Hambidge has taken the decision to retire as Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler and Grand Inspector on 31st December 2014 for health reasons.
He has thoroughly enjoyed the privilege and time serving as PrGSR and thanks all for the kindness and courteous hospitality extended to him.
